Orlando hip-hop mainstay DiVinci produces comeback track for Ms. Lauryn Hill


This month, the inimitable Ms. Lauryn Hill released her first new music in several years, the single "Guarding the Gates" from the soundtrack of Queen & Slim. Which is notable enough, but if you peruse the credits on this track you'll notice a local connection.

Taking on production duties for Hill's comeback is Orlando's own DiVinci of Solillaquists of Sound/Chakra Khan. And OW readers will remember that this is a collaborative relationship that goes back several years.

"Guarding the Gates" dropped on Nov. 15, and can be purchased or streamed on all the usual platforms now. Take a listen below.
