Brit rocker Rod Stewart announces summer Central Florida show with Cheap Trick

Just days after Rod Stewart and his son allegedly sucker-punched a security guard at a Florida New Year’s Eve party, the British rock star has announced a new tour with a stop in Central Florida. Stewart will be touring behind his new album with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Stewart, along with classic rockers Cheap Trick, will perform at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Aug. 26. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10.
