Universal Orlando has a new ticket promotion to coax U.S. residents into perhaps visiting the theme park for a vacation getaway, and it has the potential to more than double said theoretical vacation's duration.

Effective now, if you buy a two-day, two-park ticket (starting at $243.99) to Universal, you'll get three additional days tacked on for free, giving you plenty of time to fully soak in Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. This promotion runs through the holidays to Jan. 6, 2021.

More locally, Universal is also extending the purchasing window for their recent "Buy a Day, Visit Every Day Thru Dec. 24 for Free" pass – an exclusive for Florida residents – to Nov. 3.

Launched back in August, this particular bargain offers Floridians the option to buy a single 2-Park, 1-Day, Park-to-Park ticket, and then be able to access the parks every day through Dec. 24 for free.

There are no blockout (blackout)* dates on either of these deals. Parking is not included in either of these deals.

Call it whichever you prefer; we don't have a dog in that semantical fight.
