Don’t twist our words here, but that’s what electronic producer-artist Cashmere Cat is so well-known for. The Norwegian DJ’s remixes of artists like Lana Del Rey and 2 Chainz caught fire in 2012, which led the R&B-leaning up-and-comer to have a hand in everything from Grand Theft Auto’s smash-and-grab soundtrack success to production creds on Kanye West’s 2015 release, So Help Me God. Most recently, his new single, “Adore,” which features Ariana Grande, smoothly sailed into our ears, like the swans gliding on Lake Eola or on the single’s official art. Now Cashmere Cat’s in town with Grande, taking the stage at Amway Center to warm the arena up for the pop star whose Facebook cutely and appropriately reports she’s a “cat by day” and “recording artist by night.” Pass the meow mix, please. Heads up: You can also catch Cashmere Cat on Saturday, March 27, at the Social for his own headlining show if you wanna skip the arena sparks.
