Trader Joe’s is coming

Ground has finally broken for the highly anticipated Trader Joe’s supermarket, which is scheduled to open on Orlando Avenue near the corner of Morse Boulevard in Winter Park in 2014. Things you probably already knew about the grocery store chain: It’s a yuppie haven, it’s known for carrying bottles of cheap Charles Shaw wine, often called Two Buck Chuck, that are surprisingly drinkable. Something you may not have known about Trader Joe’s: The store is owned by the same German family that owns another famous grocery chain known for cheap goods: Aldi.
