DeVos vows vouchers

comment

Orlando Magic owner and Amway kingpin Richard DeVos's son, Dick, has started a school-voucher drive in his home state of Michigan. Gov. John Engler is said to be "intrigued" ; the proposal would repeal a 1972 voucher ban and allow vouchers to be applied to "at risk" school districts. Orlando Weekly is intrigued, too, but only by the slogan of the petition drive, which is "Kids First! Yes" -- which makes us ask, "Uh, Dick, doesn't the punctuation go at the end?"
