Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse makes a 3-D appearance in Orlando on Wednesday, Nov. 4, signing copies of his best-selling cookbooks from 5-7 p.m. at Books-A-Million in University Park Plaza (519 S. Semoran Blvd., 673-1331).

Lagasse is pushing his newest book, "Emeril's TV Dinners" ($25, Morrow), a "best of" round-up of dishes demonstrated on his Food Network shows, such as "Louisiana Creole spiced blue crabs with green onion dipping sauce."

If you already have a copy, it's OK to bring it to the event; otherwise the store will have his books on hand, including "Emeril's New Orleans Cooking" and "Emeril's Creole Christmas.' Arrive just before 5 p.m. to boost chances of having an audience with Lagasse. Light snacks and cappuccinos from the bookstore's adjoining cafe can help to pass the wait time.
