Get a grip on bold burritos

Lunch plans are solved. After seemingly endless renovations, a lovely and spacious new Out of Hand Burrito Stand has opened in Winter Park. Located in the very purple building at 702 N. Orange Ave. -- just a block from the Fairbanks Avenue intersection -- Out of Hand specializes in "burritos with an attitude."

Loosely translated, that means not everything is a recombination of beans, salsa, chicken and cheese. A few of these burritos boldly go where none has gone before. "Thai chicken burrito," anyone? How about a "tomato basil burrito" or a "grilled chicken salad burrito"? If you crave Mexican traditions, Out of Hand serves those, too, along with a wall full of sinus-clearing hot sauces. These eats are healthy, tasty and cheap (nothing over $5.50). Add a cooler full of beers and the new patio dining area, and you've a got perfect spot for after-work schmooze parties. See you there.
