Get the scoop on Jerimiah's

Anyone craving a sweet rush after a flick at the Regal Winter Park Village 20 can now stroll next door and visit a new branch of Jerimiah's.

Unlike the Aloma Avenue Jerimiah's, which serves only Italian ices, this new location offers more than a dozen flavors of homemade ice cream, including a succulent "cherry Seinfeld" that even Newman would love. Beware: Scoops can be a bit small -- perhaps the result of employing some friendly but thin women behind the counter.

It you haven't tried it yet, order a gelati, a hugely refreshing treat that alternates layers of flavored Italian ice with soft-serve vanilla or chocolate. "Soft serve"? Think Dairy Queen or (for Northerners) Carvel. Gelati is the dessert world's ying and yang in a cup, and they don't skimp on this one. At $2.55 for a mountainous "regular" size, it could be the best deal in the ever-upscaling Winter Park Village.
