Gimme Shelter: Meet Jeyse!

Looking for a furry friend? Meet Jeyse!

Jeyse (A171859) is Orange County Animal Services' longest resident and a favorite of the staff trainer. This sweet 8-year-old boy is housebroken and leash-trained. Jeyse is recommended in a home with older children and would make a great helper dog. He knows several tricks. And since he's older than 7, he's even free to adopt! Will you give this sweet senior pet a forever home?

OnFeb. 14, OCAS launched their "All the Single Ladies" promotion as a nod to the popular Beyoncé song. All female pets are only $10 to adopt for the remainder of the month. All males are $20, reduced from the typical $55 fee, which includes sterilization, a microchip and vaccinations.

Orange County Animal Services is located at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando, near the Mall at Millenia. The shelter is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, please call 407-836-3111 or visit
