Hunger Street Tacos adds Saturday breakfast/brunch, Bite Night is just around the corner, plus more in our weekly food roundup



NEWS: Ace Cafe has launched their buffet-style weekend brunch service. They'll also offer a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar ... Hunger Street Tacos will serve breakfast and brunch on Saturdays beginning July 1 ... Snowbirds Vintners 2016 Rosé, produced by chef Jamie McFadden of Cuisiniers Catering and winemaker Norm Saley, has been released. Look for it at Whole Foods Market and Quantum Leap Winery ... Both the Ravenous Pig and Millenia106 have joined the Bite 30 fold, offering $30 three-course prix fixe menus through June 30.

OPENINGS: Crepeway Caffe, operated by Konstantinos Chilias, who once ran La Creperia Cafe in Pointe Orlando many years ago, will open on Park Avenue in Winter Park in August or September ... Look for another Keke's Breakfast Cafe to open in the Eagle Creek shopping plaza in Lake Nona in August ... Over in Winter Garden, Latin-American restaurant Casa Jiminez, from the owners of The Big Easy restaurant, has opened ... Hawkers Asian Street Fare will open their fifth restaurant at the Grove at Isleworth later this year ... Look for Peppino's Organic Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria to open in the old El Sureño Latin Grill space on Curry Ford Road near Bumby in August ... Duck Donuts will open in the Crosslands Shopping Center in Kissimmee the first week of July.

CLOSINGS: After 20 years, Wolfgang Puck Grand Café, one of the Downtown Disney originals, will close in August. But fear not, all you Puckheads – Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill will open in Disney Springs in 2018.

EVENTS: Orlando Weekly hosts BITE Night at the Orchid Garden & Ballroom Monday, June 26. Get your tickets at before it's too late ... On Tuesday, June 27, DoveCote and Tim Varan of Tim's Wine Market collaborate on a French wine dinner. The four-course, five-wine pairing menu begins at 6 p.m.; cost is $72. For reservations call 407-895-9463 ... Wine lovers will also want to mark Saturday, Aug. 26, on their calendar. That's when Opus One returns to Norman's at the Ritz-Carlton for what promises to be an epic wine dinner.
