Dr. Miriam Kienle, Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Kentucky, will present her research related to the exhibition Pushing the Envelope: Mail Art From The Smithsonian's Archives of American Art. She will discuss how mail art (also called "correspondence art" and "postal art") become an international phenomenon.
