Restaurant That Best Replicates Dining on Mumbai’s Streets

Chaat House

9472 S. Orange Blossom Trail

Chaat House’s savory South Asian street food is just as animated as its bold, over-the-top Bollywood-style decor. It’s not uncommon to see patrons seated with their feet up, yakking away in assorted Desi dialects while munching on plates of chaat – the cool, sometimes creamy, sometimes crunchy, always spicy street snacks. If you’ve never had the pleasure, head on over and sample some pani puri, bhel puri or papri chaat; then you’ll get the idea. Finish off with some chai and bite-sized mithai (sweets) and you can hold off on your trip to India for a while.
