”I was introduced to the album Air Stereo by the Damnwells in 2008 on a road trip back down to Orlando from Atlanta. The raw, humanness of the vocals and lyrical conviction had my heart at first listen. With its soulfully influential and distinctive instrumental support, I'm always lost in the realness of their music. All the way from their driving opening track ‘I've Got You' to the vulnerability of ‘Shiny Bruise' followed by the heart-baring arrangement of ‘Graceless.'”

Pop-rock act Chasing Jonah's debut EP will be released in August. They open for Son of a Bad Man with guests Dirty Shannon and Man on Earth 8 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at the Social. Admission is $5. Check out the video for their first single, “Run,” on YouTube.
