NEWS: Gratitude Coffee has moved its truck from Daisy's on East Par Street to Cavanaugh's Wine Store on Edgewater Drive in College Park ... When The Glass Knife opens in Winter Park this fall, it'll serve coffee from the award-winning Onyx Coffee Lab and will house Modbar's suite of innovative tap-style brewing systems.

OPENINGS: Kadence, from the talented trio behind Kappo and Konbini at East End Market, has opened for their omakase experiences. Seatings are at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, and 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sundays ... Soho Juice Co., offering açai bowls, smoothies, raw foods and cold-pressed juices, has opened next to Popeye's on South Orlando Avenue ... Donut Central & Fuelpresso has opened in the old Sleeping Moon Café space on the corner of Aloma Avenue and Semoran Boulevard ... Southern Craft, a cocktail/beer bar, will open on South Street (behind Southern Nights) Oct. 11 ... Orlando's newest craft brewery and tasting room, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co., breaks ground Oct. 13. Look for it to open on Alden Road next spring ... Chez Filet, a French restaurant with Brazilian influences, has opened on I-Drive next to Cafe Istanbul ... Wonderland Cookie Dough Co. has opened on Market Street in Celebration.

CLOSINGS: Spacebar in the Milk District has closed, and Phas3 has opened in its place. This "sip and shop" establishment is a collaboration between five local brands: Legacy Vintage, Simply Clean, Please Evolve, Dead Beat Books and Framework Coffee.

EVENTS: The Ravenous Pig celebrates its 10th anniversary with a Friends of the Pig Wine Dinner Sunday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m. Chefs Rhys and Alexia Gawlak, James and Julie Petrakis, Nick Sierputowski, Clayton Miller, Kathleen Blake, Brandon McGlamery, and Kevin Fonzo will prepare the dinner courses, with master sommelier George Miliotes providing the pairings. Cost is $175 ... Second Harvest Food Bank's Chef's Night Series Oct. 18 will feature "Primetime Kitchen"'s Jim Colbert along with chefs Bruno Fonseca (Millenia 106), Bryan Thoman (Canvas) and Tello Luna (Harry's Poolside Bar & Grill). Cost is $100 ... Harry's Poolside Bar & Grill hosts a beer pairing dinner Oct. 20 featuring Funky Buddha Brewery. Cost is $55.
