We all scream for ice cream

I heard the oddest question ever while at Lickety Splits Frozen Custard in Altamonte Springs (946 W. State Road 436; 407-786-4174): While ordering a single scoop in a cone, I was asked, "Is that for here or to go?". The concept that there might be a difference was so mind-boggling I stood there, mute.

There are Lickety Splits locations from Rhode Island to Texas (and even on cruise ships) and fortunately, their freshly churned confections (custard has about 2% egg yolk in it; ice cream doesn't) have a rich and creamy taste and premium consistency that's simply orgasmic. The vanilla is a smooth delight, and there's a boatload of sundaes available in varieties such as German chocolate or Rocky Road.

They also make hamburgers, chicken and hot dogs, but even I don't have the nerve to ask for a "Lickety Burger."
